Bio: Originally from Guilderland, NY Pat is now based in San Diego, CA. By day Pat works at the University of San Diego as an administrator in Residential Life (student housing). By night he is a full time PhD student in Leadership Studies researching the intersection between gamification, student development and leadership. He is also happily married to his wife Amanda.
As a game designer Pat is interested in all game styles and has an ever growing list of ideas that he hopes to explore when time allows. Pat created this page as a way of promoting designs that he, and older brother Jim were working on. Pats first serious project was a game called Restaurateur, from there he developed Goblin Toboggan, worked with Jim on Faberge Chickens and created Flipyard Shipyard. In between are plenty of games in various stages from general ideas to prototype that are all waiting for their chance to be developed and tested. Beyond family, school, work, and games Pat enjoys travel and adventure with his wife. Together they explore everywhere they can from their home city in San Diego, to national parks, to small towns and cities across the US and when the fates allow, places abroad.
