STATUS UPDATES
Mountains Out of Molehills:
Pat tested some different ideas for micro-expansions. The Rock cards and piece were a favorite and may be a contender for the final game. Some of the other ideas need more testing. We are hoping to try some different ideas related to the number of rounds in a game to make these rules more streamlined.
Restaurateur: This is the first game Pat ever designed and it had some flaws. Pat has some new ideas forming to bring this one back to life, while keeping the core mechanics in tact.
Spirit of the Trees: We have hit a bit of a wall with this one and given the number of competing projects we are placing it on hold until inspiration strikes.
Faberge Chickens: Should be entering development with the publisher very soon - we are extremely excited to see it come together!
Glockenspiel: Pat is testing a rough concept for a musical game. At this point it is more of a design exercise than a prototype, but it may develop into more.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket: A long working title, but Jim is working on a set of mechanics he had developed which thematically could be a sequel of sorts to Faberge Chickens.
Goblin Toboggan: This game has been on the back burner for awhile, but it time permits it might come back to the table for more refinement.
Spell Bound Books: Pat made new player boards that use a 4x4 book configuration rather than 8x4. This has sped up the game play without removing the puzzle aspect that players enjoy. It is testing well and feels really solid and ready for another round of pitching.
Frankenstein Academy: Pat made a few minor tweaks to enhance player interaction and to balance out some of the challenges of a three player game. It needs a bit more testing to confirm the changes, but this game is also starting to feel solid.
